I still remember
"Sadly I remember the war very well. Because if something remains in the memory of a child, it can't be washed away."
Treatment
"I remember when on one winter night my mother was taken away from the yard of our house. I remember, because we could see her again only years later. I remember her escaping from the march and bringing two apples. I remember, because by that time we hadn''t eaten for days. We remember the many dead bodies. That they are everywhere on the streets. I can't really forget."

The youngsters participating in the program had conversations with older people who still have their own memories of the Second World War. Based on their stories, the film I still remember was made with the participation of the youngsters, in the production of which we worked together with Északi Támpont Egyesület. In the film with the help of animation the events of the past come to life on the locations of the stories. That's how the memories of our storytellers appear in the environment of today"s Budapest, on familiar streets and squares, uncovering the memory of the city.
The film was made within the frames of the Personal Histories program, which has been taking place in Budapest for the third year with the support of the Dutch Theatre Na de Dam and Visegrad Fund.
